A Vacation to Remember

For the past few years, my husband and I made the conscious decision to make time for each other and take a trip to simply unwind. To recharge our bodies, mind and spirit and to be totally enveloped in each other. We also wanted it to be during our anniversary time each year as well. We call it our “Love Week”- my husband’s birthday falls on the 10th of February and our anniversary is on the 12th. Of course, we throw in Valentines Say and there you have it, Love Week. This year, we decided to once again take a trip with our now favorite resort, Sandals. I personally prefer a resort over just a regular stay at a hotel or even a cruise because everything is included. I mean EVERYTHING.

We chose Sandals Barbados (you know, where Rihanna lives!😆) and decided to have Butler service which in itself is a luxury that we would normally NEVER do. It was odd at first having people do literally everything for you, but as you would have guessed, we soon got used to it. The island of Barbados is such a beautiful island. So lush, beautiful beaches and the locals are very kind-hearted. The weather was amazing and although we has a few rainy moments, they quickly faded away to beautiful skies.

The resort had a lot of different amenities that you had access to, but we were most excited about the food! Everything was included and there were so many different restaurants to choose from on the resort.

Now, you know I’m a plant girl, so I was blown away by the beautiful landscapes on the resort and on the island. Most of the plants I saw there in the wild are plants we in the states would dream about having in our home. I’m going to assume the weather had something to do with how healthy they all were.

Overall, our vacation was epic! We took our relaxation to the maximum level of peace and serenity and the love we share just made our time there even more magical. There is so much more I can say about our trip, but I’d need months to express it all. So hear a video recap of our wonderful trip and I hope to share more lifestyle posts with you in the future.

So from me and my hubby, until next time

XO, Tracey❤️

Beautiful! The love you have for each other is heartwarming. It touches my heart! You are the definition of a joyful life. Barbados isn’t bad either.

Yes, you can plant in water alone. This is not propagating - this method works well if you just want to keep them in water. You still need to change out the water every two weeks or so and add some diluted plant food to the water. Just think about a pond that has plants in them - the same concept. You can plant in sphagnum moss and leca clay balls, so why not water?? 6 0
Everything old is new again. I've had this cabinet for over 10 years, and I gave it a much needed makeover. What do you think?? 40 8
So I like to call these small leafs "babies". Really, small leaves on a mature plant can mean a number of things. My #ficuselasticatineke is in major need of a repotting, and the pot size is currently too small. If you have these "baby" leaves on your mature plant, look for the following factors- 61 8
My Hallway is always a hard place to shoot. It's narrow, the lighting can look funny and let's not talk about the angles. But I love it so, so whatever.... 77 11
I love this bedroom so much. It's gone through so many changes over the years, but those by far is my favorite 💚💚 275 18
I don't know if it'll go viral, but you can never go wrong with a white button-down and some jeans. Perfect combination ❤️❤️❤️ 196 22
